Connecting your PayPal account

This guide explains how to connect your PayPal Account to AppointmentThing. This will enable you to collect payments from your attendees (via your PayPal Account) when they book appointments with you. To begin, follow the steps below.

If you're already on the Payment Types Page, ignore steps 1 through 3 and instead start at step 4 below

  1. Log in to your account on 
  2. Click 'My appointments' at the top of the home page
  3. Click the 'Connected Payment Types' link in the menu on the left side of the page to navigate to the Payment Types Page (see image below). From this page you can connect to and manage your payment merchant accounts 

  4. To connect your PayPal Account to AppointmentThing, click the blue 'Continue' button to the right of the PayPal logo as seen in the image above
  5. You'll be taken to the PayPal Connect Page (see image below).  At the top of this page is a second blue "Continue" button, followed by a step-by-step guide for connecting your PayPal Account. Click this second blue 'Continue' button

  6. When you click the button, you will be re-directed to PayPal's website in a new tab. Follow the step-by-step guide on the PayPal Connect Page to finish connecting your PayPal Account to AppointmentThing

When your PayPal account has been successfully connected to AppointmentThing, you will see the green "Connected" symbol next to PayPal on your Payment Types Page, as shown in the image below.

If you wish to disconnect your PayPal account in the future, you can do so by clicking the red 'Disconnect' link next to PayPal on your Payment Types Page.
