Embedding in WordPress

This is a guide on how to embed your AppointmentThing booking calendar into a WordPress site. Clients can then easily make appointments with you from the comfort of their browser.

Your first step is to copy the embed code from AppointmentThing. We've provided an easy guide here.
After you have the code copied to your clipboard, follow one of these guides for embedding in a page or post.

Embedding in a page

Log in to your Wordpress site. From the Dashboard, click All Pages, from the navigation menu.

Choose the page that you want to edit, and you’ll be taken to the WordPress visual editor.

Click the "plus" icon to add a block in the area where you wish to place the booking form. Note that if you have chosen the "Popup Widget" option, the button will appear in the lower right corner of your website, regardless of where you place the code.

In the interface that appears next, you will see a "Custom HTML" choice under the "Formatting" section. You can also just search for "HTML" in the search window. Click "Custom HTML".

You will see a block for inserting your custom HTML. Click on the input field and paste in the code that you copied from AppointmentThing using our easy guide.

Click the "Preview" button in the upper right corner of the window to launch a preview of the widget in your Facebook page/post. When you are satisifed, click the "Publish" button in the upper right corner of the window, and your AppointmentThing booking embed will be LIVE!
